What’s the big deal I here you say, well first off filming at 22,000 feet (5,600 meters) at sub zero temperatures is not as straight forward as one might think, these are very adverse and harsh conditions.

 

Secondly there is no communication links, no aerials, so we have to broadcast via satellite link. The good news is you can get it right to your PC in what will be not far off real time. We will broadcast live updates as we go along, so you can get the raw uncut version before any editing or censoring is applied.

 

This is a brilliant opportunity to track and be part of our challenge, you can interact via e-mail, keeping up on all the gossip.

 

Finally you will get to see the grand final and witness the results......

 

The challenge will be done in two stages, with phase one (the test walk) happening around August/September 2008, then the main challenge getting underway approximately April 2009 onwards.
